Their music style ranges from funked-up Lionel Richie ballads to reggae inspired rock to 80’s underground classics.

With electric and accoustic guitars, bass, drums, percussion, harmonica, and keyboards, the six-piece musical hurricane Johnny Bling will chase those blues away. Johnny Bling’s lineup includes four ex-Licks: percussionist and lead singer Erik “Groundhog” Higgins, a dervish of a front- man; rhythm guitarist and lead singer Aaron Wallace; vocalist and lead guitarist Michael “Squirrel” Endzel; and keyboard player Chris Dingler. Rounding out their new band are drummer Cal Morgan and vocalist and bassman Joe Singer.
Johnny Bling is primarily a cover band with a fondness for the 1980s, but they slip a couple of original songs into each set. And every now and then they pull a cover out of left field. Since this is a concert, rather than a bar gig, look for more originals Saturday night.
Every show is a party, thanks to an energetic performance and meticulous mix, maintained by a dedicated soundman. Johnny Bling demonstrates its diverse influences, ranging from the ‘80s to rock, reggae and funk. You might even hear “Folsom Prison Blues.” The detailed harmonies, intricate jams and eclectic song list guarantee that every show is unique.
